This explains what we collect when you use Miine, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do. We have kept it plain on purpose — if something here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.

What we collect

  • Account information — your email address, and the sign-in method you use. This is the minimum needed to give you an account.
  • Your page content — username, display name, bio, links, social handles, images, and any other content you add.
  • Usage and device information — pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, referring site, and similar technical data.
  • Communications — messages you send us, and our replies.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

  • Operate Miine and show your page to people who visit it
  • Sign you in and keep your account secure
  • Prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and misuse of the service
  • Understand how Miine is used, so we can fix problems, measure what works, and decide what to build next
  • Develop new features and products, including paid ones, and improve existing ones
  • Produce aggregated or de-identified statistics about how the service is used. This kind of data no longer identifies you, and we may publish or share it
  • Contact you about your account, changes to the service, and things we think you will want to know about
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms

Who we share it with

  • Anyone with your link. A published page is public by design — anything you put on it can be seen and shared by anyone.
  • Service providers who work for us, and only on our instructions — currently hosting, database and file storage, authentication, email delivery, rate limiting, and Google Analytics, which we use to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits. We may add other providers, such as error monitoring, as Miine grows.
  • Where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Miine, our users, or the public.
  • In a business transfer. If Miine is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will tell you if that changes how your information is handled.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show advertising on Miine today. If that ever changes, we will update this page, tell you before it takes effect, and give you the choices the law requires — including the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information.

How Miine makes money

Miine is free right now. We intend to introduce paid features or plans in future, and we may use what we learn from how people use the service to decide what those should be. Introducing paid features may change which features are available for free.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information and page content while your account is open, and usage data for as long as it is useful for the purposes above.

If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, links, socials and stickers. Files you have uploaded may remain in our storage for some time afterwards — tell us and we will remove those too. Copies may also persist in routine backups for a period after deletion. We may keep information for longer where the law requires it, or to resolve disputes and enforce our terms.

Your choices and rights

In the product, at any time, you can:

  • Edit or delete anything on your page
  • Unpublish your page so it is no longer publicly reachable

Anything else — deleting your account, getting a copy of your information, correcting it, or objecting to how we use it — is handled by email rather than a button. Depending on where you live you may have a legal right to some of these; either way, ask and we will do it.

Miine is currently run by one person, so please allow a little time for a reply. We will not charge you or make it difficult.Email inbox.mujahid@gmail.com.

Where your information is held

Miine runs on third-party infrastructure, which means your information may be stored and processed in a country other than your own.

Children

Miine is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will change this policy as Miine changes — for example when we add features, introduce paid plans, or begin using new service providers. When we do, we will update the date at the top and post the new version here.

If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will post it here before it takes effect, and give notice in the product or by email where we reasonably can. Where the law requires your consent, we will ask for it rather than assume it. Continuing to use Miine after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
